 Gnomes are small humanoids who are relatives of Dwarves.  They differ from
 Dwarves mainly in their lifestyles and living environment.  Most Gnomes live
 underground in shallow cave areas and in thickly wooded forest areas.
 Gnomes, unlike Dwarves, are very comfortable with arcane power and as a
 result rely less on physical work.  Gnomes are known to make some of the
 best adventuring clerics and mages, among other things.

Constitution: average              Size: somewhat small
They are inferior to humans, and therefore earn more experience.
They are somewhat slow in mastering arcane powers.
They are quick learners of skills.
They can see in the dark.
